我要结婚了！！

昨天到公司附近的妇产科, 做了宫颈抹片。由于子宫颈癌是现代女性的第一号杀手， 因为怕死，就做了这检查。

什么女性应该做宫颈抹片呢？根据医生的说法， 女性一到18岁，或具有性活动时， 就应该每年做检查 。

其实整个检查过程很简单， 大概只须5 分钟， 而且完全不痛。其中一个步骤，医生将会用一枝小棒 （好象冰其淋的棒子）刮子宫颈的一些细胞，然后送去测试。 几天后，你就可以拿到报告。

这次的检查费用是RM90， 我想每间疹所的收费都不一样吧！希望报告结果会没事啦！

Last month in one of TV program I had learnt a treatment of Diabetes. Since I am diabetic, I tried it and it was very useful and my sugar contain is in control now. In fact I have already reduced my medicine.

Take two pieces of 'Lady Finger' and remove/cut both ends of each piece. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in a glass of water. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature for overnight. In the early morning, before breakfast simply remove the two pieces of lady finger from the glass and drink that water. Keep doing it on daily basis. Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your sugar contains.

My sister has got rid of her diabetes. She was on Insulin for few years, but after taking the lady fingers for a few months, she has stopped Insulin and she continues to take the lady fingers everyday. However, she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, add the water and drinks it the next morning.

You have to keep taking it for a few months before you see results, as most cases might be chronic.

身为马来西亚人， 有谁是没有吃过印度人著名的煎饼 (Roti Canai ) 和拉茶 (Teh Tarik) 呢？

今天新闻报道，政府已经遂服一些餐馆，响应降价活动，让 煎饼于拉茶降价10仙。可是先不要高兴得太早，不是全部餐馆哦！

在访问一部分的餐馆老板时，他们坚决不降价，因为原料成本很高。他们说， 除非原料降价那么他们就会降价。

政府应该确底的解决通膨问题，而不是只做一些表面工夫，安抚人名的心。 我门不是三岁小孩子啦！

中国有位肖先生因为不满银行服务态度, 男子气难消, 竟拿3000元分开3000次存款。

肖先生被银行柜台人员傲慢服务态度激怒后，决定回家拿出所有的零钱，在往那间银行存款。他 拿着一袋5角，1角的零钱，总共3000元，要求每次只存1元。

当他花了一个多小时存完第36笔时，银行受不了，要求得罪客户的银行营业员当场道歉了事。这才消了肖先生的火气，一场纠纷就此化解。

Employee's EPF contribution Rate reduce from 11% to 8%, effective from Jan 2009 wage for a period of two years.

what do you think? Good or bad?

According to the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, the objective of this move is to help to increase the buying power to support domestic consumption and to sustain the current economic outlook.Is this mean to ask Malaysian to saving lesser and spend more money? But this statement is contradict to the 'advice' from our 'lovely' Prime Minister who ask Malaysian to keep more money, change the life style and spend wisely to face the current economy.

We had heard a lot of news from media about the EPF is not enough to suport the living after retired. Now the govenrment implement this reduction, will it cause more people will get suffer after retired?

According to EPF, start from Jan 2009, this reduction will implement automatically. For members who wish to maintain the contrubution rate at 11%, you may need to fill up a form 'KWSP 17A (AHL). Once completed, submit the form to your employers for submission to EPF.

You may download this form from EPF website from 1 Dec 08 onwards.

So you want to maintain or reduce the rate ? Please think wisely. :)

Last week I had received an email from a friend. The email content mainly is complain about EPF had cheated our money.

Why they said so? According to the email, for those who had apply for the withrawals of money from 2nd account to pay for monthly housing loan installment was cheated by EPF. The EPF will keep aside members' savings in a seperate accounts for this withrawals and EPF will not pays any dividends to the said amount.

Example: If you apply RM 50,000 for housing loan installment, monthly installment is RM800. So 1 year is RM9,600. So there are still remain RM40,400 in another account. Let say every year EPF has pay 5% interest. So RM40,400 x 5% = RM2,020. If the above statement is true, then you will lose RM2,020.

After reading this email, I quickly check at EPF website and you know what? EPF had made a statement that DIVIDEND will still pay to the balance of the said amount. So friends, sometime don't blindly believe the emails that you read. Check th truth before you made any statement that will confuse others.

昨天晚上听新闻报道后，发现法律一点也不公正， 全由有权有势的人所操控。

A friend bought four packs of ice cream and to prevent it from melting, the seller put the dry ice
amongst the ice cream. My friend put it at the back seat (not the back of the car boot) and he started to打drive with the windows closed and the aircon on (as what we all do).

Soon after that, he had difficulty breathing and it was getting worse by minutes. Luckily, he was in a traffic jam and when he almost fainted, beside him was an ambulance. He dragged himself to the ambulance and got the oxygen treatment. He was getting better on the way to the hospital. The ambulance officer drove his car to the hospital and he had the same experience. However, before his condition worsen, he opened up the window and he could breathe easily.

Only later, when my friend returned to office and told his colleagues about his story, they pointed out to him that the dry ice was the problem. WHY? Dry ice is made of CO2 and when it 'melts', it becomes CO2 gas straight away without leaving any wet mark (that is why it is called dry ice). CO2 is easier to be tied up in our blood and thus, when the dry icesublimes into CO2 gas, it fills the car room with it along with the air con circulation and caused CO2 poisoning.

So, dont put the dry ice inside your car if you are using aircon with fully closed windows. Youmust leave the windows open for such situation. Hope this will help to prevent any fatality just from a small negligence like this. Imagine if you have your children inside, they might be the first victim.
